Our Quest For Excellence

SiteKnight exists for great small, medium, and local businesses that need an online presence. Traditionally, business owners are asked for thousands upfront for a project that may be more than what they need, one that won't be supported after launch, or at worst a website that isn't built well, with the alternative being left to DIY it themselves. While those prices are justified for quality website work, sometimes it just doesn't fit within the business's current goals and budget. In lieu of that, SiteKnight provides an option to meet a business where they're at.

Hi, I'm Jake

I built SiteKnight with a ton of support from my background that strengthens every aspect of the business. With experience in business administration, sales, and graphic design, I was able to develop an adaptable skillset. When I design a brand or website, I value discovering what truly matters to you, your customers, and your unique value proposition, while minimizing the noise. A great-looking website or brand isn't going to bring in work on its own, and trying to sell something that doesn't look professional or trustworthy is an uphill battle.

I grew up around sales with both parents being entrepreneurs, while majoring in business and minoring in graphic design and photography. I began my professional journey with Edge One Media, who I was with for 10 good years. From in-person networking, designing graphics, and working maintenance tickets to becoming the studio's lead designer for branding, web design, and full brand-to-website builds, I learned what clients need, what works, and what doesn't. I have had a part in every layer of the business in this industry, and that is one of the foundational strengths of SiteKnight.

Off the clock

When I'm not building brands and websites

I love the game of basketball, hooping in college and still exercising today to stay competitive. My creativity stemmed from my love of all things fantasy as a child (and adult): novels, RPG video games, Magic: The Gathering, and Dungeons & Dragons. I enjoy exploring new spots, parks, and restaurants, finding and supporting the exact kind of local businesses I love to work with.
